Popular Group Spreads the Love and Prepares to Celebrate 10 Years of Music

Madison, WI--Reggae/rock outfit NATTY NATION will play Ballyhoos Brew & Chew in Merrill, WI on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 p.m. There is a small cover charge at the door, and concert-goers must be age 21 or over to get in.

Notorious for their unique mix of reggae, rock, funk, dancehall, and dub music, NATTY NATION comes to Merrill to spread their positive vibe and expose more people to their entrancing live performances. For almost a decade NATTY NATION has been making audiences dance, sing, and think about what’s going on around them. NATTY’s socially conscious messages and support for local and national causes makes their music even stronger, leaving audience members with a sense of pride and awareness.

NATTY NATION will showcase their talents at Ballyhoos Brew & Chew by performing a mix of selections from their roster of over 40 songs. The band has released four studio albums, The Journey Has Just Begun (1996), Earth Citizen (1998), Rasta Revolution E.P (2002), and Inatty In Jah Music (2003). In addition to the studio albums, a host of live NATTY NATION performances have been released, something that is very popular with fans.

Their collection of music will grow, however, when they release their 10th Anniversary album in March 2006. Tentatively titled “Resurrection,” this two disc album will include up to 10 new songs reflecting the new sound and vibe inspired from the band’s experiences over the past 10 years, as well as remakes of old favorites. The new material will be more roots, dub, dancehall and rock steady, but less hard rock, and much of it will be co-written by Demetrius “Jah Boogie” Wainwright, Aaron “Eyes of Moses” Konkol, and Aaron “A-Slay” Sleator. Expect to hear new tracks along with old favorites at the November 12th show.

Each NATTY NATION performance is a new experience. For long-time fans and interested audience members – it’s hard not to dance at a NATTY show. Experience the vibe in Merrill on February 10th.
